XR 1200

As some of my friends were buzzing about the new Harley XR 1200, I've tried one some days ago. Big disappointment. A combination of nice things with missed ones. The engine feels good but driving position is unnatural to me, gearbox too short for all those hp (110kmph 4000rpm), sozius chair a joke inclined a bit backwards, exhaust pipes fixed with a black long stick at the rear side. Like the designers were some talented guys too busy to smoke and drink coffee and missed the deadline for their project. I do not see many customers for this foxocamel. Like Buell wouldn't be in the same courtyard to inspire from. Bulldog is way better at a fraction of the 11000 euros for the XR. The poor selling of this XR will be a good reason for Harley to stay out of the real bikes world. I saw some statistics showing that all major moto brands are going down as market share in Germany except HD, which grew 17% last year. So many are in need for some living room decoration?
