Immobiliser light

Hello all. I have bought a 2005 Dog with an immobiliser. The manual says the flashing light should go out 24 hours after the engine is switched off but mine stays on indefinately. (The immobilizer light should go out after 24 hours. It was the igniter unit. Its now sorted)
