Buzz on switch on

When I first turn the key I hear a buzz from under the seat for about 2 seconds. This happens while the instrments are running through their checks. This problem has only occured after leaving the bike standing for a few days.

Has anyone had experience of this sound????

It's the normal noise of the fuel pump (Benzinpumpe)

yepp, that's normal, no prob. Don't worry!

It's the fuel-"ticker". Maybe it's a sign that your/our dog is alive.

The noise by the first turn of the key are normal.
On the first the BT1100 makes a self test.
This testmode include the check of the instruments.
