Hi,
Can anyone throw light on the noise made by my fuel pump when I turn on the ignition? It sounds as if it is pumping air until the fuel reaches it and then goes quiet. Is there some procedure I can use to correct this?
Regards
Philip

Re: Fuel Pump Noise
Hi Philip,
this noise is absolutely normal! First the pump has to fill the floatbowls and then it has to provide system-pressure before it shuts off. This "noise" can´t be a big bother or can it?

Anyway. ..
You don't have a problem with,
: it was just the noise that disturbs you, isn't it ?
Friendly, Didier.
