When I was about 13 yrs old at school a pupil, leaning back on her chair, toppled over and spilt ink all over another girl. The inked girl was not happy and uttered a naughty word.
I laughed.
The teacher told me off for laughing!
He said with some venom, "Reynolds, I suppose you are the type of person that would laugh at an old lady slipping on a banana."
I pictured the scene and laughed again.
